I wonder if I should make some new ones or continue the old series.

I'm working on my Master Thesis about Concept Art for Hostile Worlds. I have to write a lot of text and it's all in german of course. I did not want to make it any mor stressful as it is. I'm ready to start painting soon. Stay tuned. You're gonna be please.

During the last days I realized that many people look at my deviantArt page. And these people show it to others who look at my DeviantArt page instead of my DAportfolio page. Hi Nick, hi dad.

Well, since the Deviantart Portfolio page seems to have some flash /lagging issues I started creating another portfolio page on Behance Network.

But in order to make sure everyone sees everything in the best way I guess I have to organize things a little better.

In other News I got the Feedback from other Art "professionals" that I should do more realistic and background sutff and not only SciFi and Fantasy.

I have to start with my master thesis soon and today was my last day at Bigpoint. Hostile Worlds is doing great while Kultan doesn't.

We submitted HW to a few contests. Maybe we are going to win something or at least we get some more attention.
Our goal is to reach 5000 downloads. We reached the 1000 mark a few days ago.

And so on and so on...

I figured my portfolio is not just concept art. In case I can't find a job as concept artist I still have other abilities. I'm actually a fully educated game artist. And I have to show my stuff to the world. So here look at it. It's high quality work. I know how to do things. This know how is also good if I want to get a lead position. I know how other artists thnk, how level designers work and so on. And this makes me a beter concept artist again. Because as concept artist you have to design the blue prints for others. This is why Feng Zhu for example never saw hi9mself as Artist but as Designer...

Well. Hostile Worlds is out id you haven't noticed. And Kultan is out too. I worked on both projects on several aspects of he game.

Feels good to have these projcts released.

What will happen next?
I have to start with my Master Thesis. It will propably be about Hostile Worlds. Still not a hundred percent sure but it's the easiest thing to do. I'm still waiting for an introduction on the third race but I'm getting strictly ignored by theonlysword.deviantart.com/ ... very unprofessional...

Also my contract at Bigpoint is going to end in October and I don't know what to do next. Is somebody interested in comissions from me?
I got invited by a german online gallery who does print stuff like here on DeviantArt but even more professional.
